How many times were you sitting there thinking, I have to quit smoking but....

Were you scared to pull the TRIGGER?

Why???

Ya, we have had the gun cocked and loaded but something is preventing us from firing and quitting this bad habit before it kills us. We are scarred of what? The power of the nicomonster in us or the power to quit! I believe that we all have that power in us to  "pull the trigger" and quit smoking!

We get scarred because we know we have the power and its the nicomonster is the one who is scarred, not you! You are feeling him in yourselves because we are addicted to him. When he is scarred, we feel scarred so he tricks us in to thinking we are best friends and can't live without him and behind our backs he's secretly plotting our demise for he knows we can defeat him and be rid of his unhealthy and deadly presence!

This is the sad part about our addition, we give up our freedom of choice to pull the trigger. Each cigarette we smoke gives strength to this addition and the monster. The longer we smoke the stronger he gets. and as long as we feel too scarred to pull the trigger the longer he will live in us.

I say, if you are scarred about quitting, that means the nicomonster is scarred so.........

Pull the Trigger!

After all, He's got his gun aimed at you!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
