I just realized today, that I am no longer afraid to be around somebody smoking.  It just occurred to me earlier today.  I went over and talked to someone knowing that they were smoking.  I think that is pretty spectacular :)

Yup, love those moments when you realize that you don't give a rats ass about smoking anymore.  Such a nice feeling after the weeks/months spent obsessing over it in the beginning.  Good for you!!

Not afraid to be around them anymore, but don't really like to be around them when they are smoking either.  Gross - it stinks.  Got a massage from a women the other day and while she didn't totally stink, I could smell it, and heard it on her voice and her cough (from the lavander oil, she said, but i wasn't coughing).  So happy to be a non-smoker!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
