nicotine addicts

The reason we all smoked we was/are nicotine addicts

The reason we think/ thought we liked it was we were/are nicotine addicts

The reason when stressed/bored/upset/drunk/drinking coffee/driving or doing any other daily activity and smoked was we were/are nicotine addicts

If you took the nicotine out of cigarettes or tobacco products you would be sick on a daily basis and I mean head down the toilet sick! Because without the nicotine hit the truth would be revealed

Accept this and you will be in the right mind set to quit this addiction and with support and education will give yourself the best chance of success

That's my take on it anyway :)

yes, yes, and yes....

my own experience as an addict

has shown me that

                                   my addiction

goes ages and measures beyond the drug.

there are, for me,:

mental~ emotional, social, cognitive, and physical patterns of relationship (to Self, people, drug, and citizen) that also need to change or be acknowledged......

lest I find mySelf   , again,

                                                                                    enslaved

 I  CHOOSE FREEDOM

                                                                                                                       thankYou   ThankYou   Thankyou

Bump with three of Joel's talks

Are You A Nicotine Junkie

Were You Addicted ?

I Can't Quit because I'm Addicted

When I came to terms with my addiction and faced my denial,

I was able to see and hear the addict's voice within myself and defy it.

This action, of facing the truth, brought a deep level of honesty to my relationship with myself and one that continues to enrich my life.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
