What do non-smokers do with a lunch break??

Recommended Posts

So today is my first day back to work (since Dec. uggg. Government restructuring)

But (yay!) I've been called back.

So......last time I was here....I was a smoker.

My lunch hour was spent in my car, smoking and drinking coffee.

It didn't occur to me to pack a lunch today.

I am smoke free.....but also lunch free.

;)

New habits to form.

This is a first......an entire lunch hour and I'm not one of the stinky folks, hiding in their car, smoking.

Today is just a paperwork catch-up day, red tape gov. nonsense......I'm back for good on the 28th

And I'll be packing a lunch!!

A bag of chips and a granola bar from the vending machine is a sucky lunch.

I want turkey and cheese on a croissant. :p

Go to costa coffee or star bucks or something similar for a cappuccino and cake and surf the web on your phone, then back to work still smelling yummy, well thats what I would do.

Julie thats fab news, and a whole lunch break dedicated to you, not to you and the stinky cig, but you.  Me I would head straight for Costa, take a leisurely stroll around the shops, enjoy my peace and quiet, read, the options are endless for you I only get a 15 min break and by the time I dash up the stairs to the kitchen my break is almost over lol

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
