Played catch with the girls for a little while yesterday.  My shoulder is so sore today, even though I stretched and warmed up.  I also popped my hip out (catching a slow rolling grounder two inches to the left of me) and had to quit.  Getting old sucks.  Apparently I can do nothing more than lay in bed if I want this hip to stay in place.  I am not ok with that!  :(

Yes- it is funny you don't realize the things that you shouldn't do until the day after.  Fell better soon.

Ouch...

Hope it gets better!

I have noticed that I have started making old man noises when I bend to pick something up...

When did this start? Have I been doing it for years?

I know it hurts T. My shoulder does the same thing from an old snow skiing injury. I just lift some weights over my head and it pops back into place. Hope you feel better.

Gotta ask...how did you get from:

"Ow my shoulder hurts" to

"I know, I'll lift a weight over my head."??

If you stay with it for more than three weeks (regular*vigorous* exercise) then you wont get so sore anymore and you'll even  start getting young again.

Seriously.  Reverse the aging process.

Half-hour, three to four times a week is all you need. Most folks find that once they get healthy and start digging it, they want quite a bit more than that.

Oh no ((((Trish))))

Hope you feel better soon!

I was a gymnast in my younger years and I tried to show my husband I could still do a no handed cartwheel a few years ago. Well I did do the aerial cartwheel but I also managed to pull about a dozen muscles. Lesson learned until I was playing a DVD game of guess the lyrics and decided I would not only guess the lyrics of Like A Virgin but I would also dance like madonna and do the stage hump yep you guessed it pulled more muscles. From now on I sit like a lady and remember the pain. I am officially old! LMAO!

1. She said her hip popped out.

2. I said (or I meant) my shoulder does the same thing "pops out".

3. When I lift a weight (weights) over my head (like military press style) it pops back into place.

4. Until I do that though (pop it back into back place) it hurts like hell.

5. Anyways, Trish I hope you get to feeling better soon. :)

6. Where's bacon when I need him…. bacon !!!!!  :P

I'm not knocking it! If it works then brilliant.

I just wondered how you discovered it? If my shoulder popped out, I might wail, complain, quite probably cry. What I cannot imagine thinking is "right, let me pick up a weight".. That's all I was trying to work out! :D

I'm with you. I exercise 6 days a week and try to stay fit. I just turned 41 years old and was showing some young punks how we used to skateboard back in the day. Needless to say, my daughters friends think I'm cool.
