It's kinda sad last summer Boris the black'nred one got a blatter infection which he suffered from and after several vets visits that were stressfull, 2 cures of antibiotics and painkillers I came to the choice: anothertreatment that would (probably) enlarge his suffering with (in my eyes) little hope of curing. I suspected he was ill for a long time so I put him to sleep and it went so quietly I never knew when he went over.

But then Guus was left alone and Guinea pigs are group animals. Now don't luagh but but both guys were castrates as they were dominant towards each other in thefirst week so I cried and asked online for one or two ladies to company him.

Now I have a diva called Nala and a timid girl with rastahair Daizy and believe me Guus is one blond god in the flat.

Nala has long hair, she kinda looks like a lion. And in your absence I bought a pigs flat; 2 stores furniture where they have enough room.

Aww Evelyn, I am sorry to hear about Boris; I knew he was sick, but I thought maybe he had got better, and you had 1 additional pig... Sorry for you loss - I know how hard it is to lose them :(

I never a had any, but I always remember people telling me that you need more then 1, because they do not cope well alone... Now Guss has 2 lady friends but he can't get jiggy with them, lol. I am sure he is still enjoying himself though :good:

Look forward to seeing the pics!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
