Sorry, don't log on everyday but have your calendar hanging in my workout room.

Day 5- Done

Lol. Ok. Every day check in doesn't apply to you because you can be trusted to do this challenge.

Same can't be said about Ava and a few others who bailed on the last challenge. ;)

Day 2 done.

When I saw the schedule I was like: "wow, that's going to be soooo easy."

Then, as I got tired on my 10th sit up, I realized - I haven't specifically worked abs in a long, long time. I think it was 15 years ago when I was a senior in high school!

Feels good.

I'm here.   So, apparently when you completely fail to use muscles for years on end...they protest when you are relearning how to use them.    Ouch...

had to talk myself through today's work.

seriously ...picture a beached whale trying to head back to open sea....pretty sure that whatever I am doing in the sit up portion of events looks like that.   muscles in lower back protest. ...

must not be doing crunch or modified crunch effectively as nothing seem to hurt much....

modified the plank though....was able to get into and hold it the first few days and now modify about half to 2/3rd of the time....   the muscles doth protest, yet I am doing it.

leg lifts......ouch, ouch on the controlled descent.   ha ah ha

and am honestly amazed that I am and can do this.    :D

15th day P90X (With Abs Ripper X workout m,w,f).

5 pounds lost, 10-12 to go...

HINT: Abs are 100% about weight/fat loss We all have perfectly fine looking, beautiful abs already, without the workouts. We just can't see 'em cause they're buried under that insulation layer. Sarge buried his 6-pack completely this summer in The Florida Keys with Key Lime Pie, Caribbean Rum, and living the Jimmy Buffet flip-flops-and-alcohol lifestyle.

It doesn't matter how many crunches you do if you aren't minding the diet and fast loss. You'll have huge, toned, perfect, exercised abs no one will ever see.

Get that body fat% down, folks. It comes with other benefits, too.

Sarge's abs start showing at about 12%, Mrs. Sarge's at about 18/19%.

You can do it, every one of us can, it's just slower than we want. A lot slower ...

Easy Peasy.

This year's goal: Look like last year's picture again. Until the Pizza and Wine catch up again. Comparing the two photos, it's a long way to go ...

So I am not proud that I haven't kept up, but it's my work schedule. It's bananas.

I'm on day three but I've been running 3-4x / week.

0700 for a free hour long run tomorrow sponsored by FAST diet.

(And no, not lost the 5 lbs yet. What a shame.)
