For being pissed off, telling my house supporter she replied she was happy I was honest that I felt doing all crap for everyone and if I asked a coughing sirupe... she forgot to mention she was willing to get it for me but because I was so honest I didn't have to pay either. I replied 3x I was willing to pay back but hey if being a honest bitch means I don't have to :P

Oh and I'm gonna quit paying paracetamol and toothpaste for my housemate, figured also telling if she comes short, she either quits smoking or arranges something with the housesupporters but I'm not the toothfairy :P

Being honest can be a relief and I'm glad i told my housesupporter. Don't mind doing the best I can but expect respect at least... feel sorry I snapped at her but she appreciated it appearently

Another Saterday... This makes the 125th one in a row....lol...(Really Friday, but I'm retired ;) )

No more rain/wind...temps are brisk, but nice for (almost) November...

Gonna make a tee time for tomorrow morning...

We will get a few kids trick-or-treating here tonight....not many because our houses are too far apart in the neighborhood...(nothing changes..lol), but the granddaughters will be by, so I will get to empty the bowl of candy in thier bags....lol... (At least what ever I don't eat :) )

Oh...and I like beer too... Not so much with candy though.....

1. Drunk as a Lord

2. Watched an incredible rugby match

3. Realised that Rugby is sent to teach us all life lessons. Google "Sonny Bill Williams World Cup Final" if you don't believe me

4. I thought about cracking out a big cigar tonight, Just for me and the Dog.

Then I thought,

What?

How would my friends on the Train feel about that?

You folk. You are important.

That's it.

Carry on!

I brought a skirt the other day it was too small I nearly had fit thinking I'd put on weight, then realised it had been labelled wrong - no chance in hell was my butt getting into a UK size 6 lol had a job to get both legs in, so from a woman's point of view the fact it was labelled wrong is really good news :)

Also I exchanged it today for new handbag or purse to the Americans :)

Just for the record the bag fits perfect :)

Took my mum to the garden centre today and found a large old fashioned lardy cake and yes as the name suggests it is made from lard, currants an lots of sugar, very sticky

Sooooooo bad for you but sooooooo delicious! I always warm it up a bit so it's really sticky (food porn at its finest lol)

Sharon Siff posted a heartbreaking video on fb yesterday, but it inspired me to volunteer as a 'friend to the elderly' for people without much family or friends that can visit.

I submitted the application last night and just waiting to hear back. Only 1-2 hours a week on weekends.

Side note, it will be nice not to have to worry about showing up smelling like stale smoke once I start.

My aunt is coming to visit my mum for a few days so I have taken advantage and booked myself into a nice hotel, coast very near by and green hills, lots of walking planned, beach combing, shop mooching and in the evening taking advantage of the spa, pool and wine, absolute bliss!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
