Awesome work Juan!  Truly believe you can do it, picture yoursmoke free life and how wonderful it would be! Write a list of all the reasons you don't want to be a smoker anymore and why you choose a non smoking life now.  Get a plan ready for when cravings hit, will you sip water, sing, yell nope...whatever you want, just don't smoke!!  You can totally do this!! x

Great stuff Juan. Don't do your best. Just Do it. (Wait..didn't someone else say that?)

Commitment.

Celebrate. You quit smoking. You are a non smoker.

If you get any hiccups - we are here.

That's awesome news!!!  Just remember to focus on the initial health benefits of quitting when you get a crave.  Stay close to your support group and remember to post an SOS if you're thinking that you can't hold on.  We'll be here to grab ya before you light one up.

Remember the rule of 3's.  Here's a good video and it works.  It's about dieting and eating but applies just as much to quitting smoking.

Juan, I found looking at the info on whyquit.com really motivational. Also when I got craves I got up and did something, shuffle dance, cleaned, sipped water, walked, jog on the spot.  I found the craves past faster if I had a physical "do something" response.  xx

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
