Congrats Janet! You have made it 9 months into this journey.

Along the way, you have become an inspiration to others who have considered quitting.

As long as you keep putting one big foot in front of the other you will continue to move forward !!

CONGRATS!!!

Awe, such fun!  Thank you all for the kind words.  Without a doubt, the encouragement and insight and FUN found here absolutely helps keep the quit.  After being a diehard addict for 30+ years, I'm amazed (and thrilled) I have made it to 9 months.

I'm celebrating my anniversary with a weekend trip out of town.  It has been spectacular!  Freshly snowcapped mountains, fall colors (no tourists on the highway!) and spending time with dear people....so fun.  We're off to the beach for some agate hunting while the sun is still shining.  Feeling blessed and relaxed.  OH!  And last night, after a hug from someone, they told me I smelled great :).  No more smoker shame :).

Y'all are just the best folks.  Thank you thank you.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
