Lol, at Chrispy, I too have many "draft" copies  :D .

Cheri, May I suggest a blog and leave it in draft overnight. If in the morning it still sounds ready for human consumption then post it ;)  We've all been there. xx

Babs... I did this.  When I was single I would go the grocery store later at night a little bit "not right" when there weren't many people there.  Cause I don't like alot of people.   Anyways, I was coming out of the grocery store there was this little incline off the curb to the parking lot.  I hoisted myself up like this and started riding down the incline.  Well, not enough groceries (weight) in the cart.  If flipped up but I did not get my hands out fast enough and it dragged my knuckles across the pavement.  Ripped them all open... i could see bone on some.  I had to wrap my hands with towels from my car.  My cheapass even took the groceries to my baby mamas house which was nearby to put in her fridge so they did not spoil.  Then off to the emergency room.  I was soooooo f ucking embarrassed to tell them what had happened.  I could see them talking about me and looking and laughing.  If SUCKED.  I had all my fingers stitched up at the knuckles...and I work on a keyboard all day long at work...suckness.  Life could be worse.

I also look like Billy Badass with scars across all my knuckles.  Like I am a bare knuckle fighter.

Just because you were bleeding and in pain does'nt mean you didn't want to eat later. I mean, that WAS the whole point in going to the store in the first place right?

(I did laugh at your story too)

awwwww...our poor Chrispy!!  Hope I didn't set off a series of bad flashbacks.....

Ouch...sounds painful!

I had a seizure when I was 29 and my family was with me when it happened...they thought I was choking on pizza so my dad did the Heimlich maneuver on me and basically when I woke up...I had no skin on my feet left because he was dragging me all over the pavement!  I spent the next 2 weeks with no shoes...luckily I was on vacation.  But I feel ya on the pain!!

So, I had just been transferred to a new position at a bank where I was working (about a million years ago).

I had my own desk & stuff - a chair with wheels - Hit the big time!  So a few days after promotion .... I pushed back away from my desk in my fancy new wheel chair and totally flipped backward. Totally fell out of the chair & the chair flipped over.  HAHAHAHAHA!!  We had about 20 people in that department and they all just looked at me like "WTF!!!!" One person was like, "Are you okay?"  I was so embarrassed - but what do ya do?  lol!!!
