someone/people asked at one point what to do now during times when they would smoke out of boredom... like while taking on the phone sitting on a porch on a nice day... or whatever other mundane things we do throughout the day.  When I quit I randomly started doodling...drawing...coloring...during these times.  it really makes the time pass and sometimes when i am done it's like sweet I like that... but even if its like... ugh wtf is that mess... doesn't matter still was relaxing and helped fill my time.

And I LOVE Mandalas... they are so peaceful... you can do a lot of research about them online and they are super easy and good at centering you and calming you.  not to mention great time filler.   :)

Very cool Rachael!

I also love to doodle and I used to do it a lot when I first quit.

I'm not great at drawing, but hey, it passes the time!

Betty Boop. I'm pretty sure I drew her at my old work place, lol.

haha I couldnt ever draw a stick figure before... I wouldnt call any of this art skills just doodles... if you just start with no intention in mind it is relaxing and freeing and just do what feel right without worrying about what the end result will be. :)

Love this post!  Finding something to fill your time when you quit is so important.  Drawing is a perfect outlet as it can be so relaxing as well.  What new quitter could not use a bit of relaxation?

Very nice pics :)

Aren't mandalas so cool?

I print them and take them with me to the cottage.

I couldn't tell you how many rainy afternoons I've spent with cottage kids, coloring.

It's an incredibly peaceful way to spend an afternoon.

:)

Crayons or pencil crayons?

I use pencil crayons for mandalas but even at my age, a brand new box of crayolas makes me giddy. :)
