My weight loss progress

Recommended Posts

Y'know, Leanna, I've been posting on various forums for a long time now, and contrary to what many believe,

I can tell a LOT about a person, even IF it's "words on a screen"....

and IMHO, you're one of the NICEST youngsters I've 'met'...  (for what it's worth) so you're WELCOME! xox

You are god-damned-adorable in that picture with the short hair.

So cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aw, thank you! I posted the picture on one of the low carb groups I'm apart of and they kept saying it looked like a mother/daughter picture because I looked younger, hehe.

Leanna, you are radiant!!  I imagine you feel the same in your heart.  You have every reason to be proud.

Thank you RF! I feel pretty awesome. :) It's a new sensation for me... I don't normally feel proud of myself, or good about myself!

Hey everyone! I thought I would give a quick update on this because a lot has changed since I last posted. In total, I have lost 136 pounds. Last year at the start of January, I weighed in at 343 pounds. This is by far the heaviest I have ever been. I've always been big (bouncing between 280-290 pounds for most of my adult years), but my weight skyrocketed in 2014. Today, I weigh 207 pounds. I have a long way to go, but I am so proud of my progress. I feel amazing! I have never felt healthier.

My big struggle when I was 343 pounds was walking -- my knees constantly hurt, I'd get winded, and my ankles would swell. I was a mess. Now, not so much. I love to walk and can stand for longer than 30 minutes without my ankles swelling. My overall health has improved so much since last year and that's what's most important to me.

So, progress pictures because I am a selfie-taking junkie. I know, it's embarrassing to admit!
