It's nice to login and see 20 members and only 4 anonymous users as opposed to only 4 members and 20 anonymous users. Makes a big statement about the comfort level around here. Great site.

I don't ever think I can thank MQ enough for doing this.

Nicely put!

I have posted here more than anywhere else, lol. It's not a toxic environment here at all -- I love it.

i agree!!! It's also nice to see I have a new message or notifications and actually be happy about it.....

I love how people feel relaxed here and can let their hair down and take their shoes off...they trust this place and the members here...such a breath of fresh air!

I love it here and I love to see more people posting because they don't have to be afraid of a mean reply :-) Lovely!

I know what you mean. I used to stay quiet more (not 100%, but tried to not say too much) because I generally felt like people would be waiting to pounce on me if there was any way at all that what I said could be taken the wrong way. I saw it happen daily to people, and I just didn't find it beneficial to anyone-or their quits-to argue for the sake of arguing online.

I don't feel like that here, and I hope everyone here feels that same level of comfort. I'm all for people respectfully disagreeing, variety is the spice of life! But the pots shots are what are unnecessary and awkward.

I feel the same way.  Very rarely, do I sign in anonymously here.  When I do, it's due to force of habit and I fix it once I notice.

I love it here too and totally feel more comfortable posting without worry it is nice. It feels like a fresh start. The other place was starting to make my anxiety go up everytime I logged in and now that I forgot my password I cant log in which keeps me away from there even more. :)

I should prob'ly log in without the "anonymous" feature, maybe I will!  I like being able to post here and not worry that someone is gonna become offended because I happened to "Like" something someone else said... I hate those mind games.

Ok, being the ole hippie I am... what stood out to me in Jengels post was 4 20... lol

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
