So... I have no idea how this happen but it just did and now I feel so weird.

So, I went to sleep at 3 in the morning and when I woke up, I looked at my watch and it was saying 6:25, PM Time, I was feeling really fresh like if I had sleept the whole day.

Since I work in the night-shift and today I'm back working again I did my day as normal, had a shower, cooked dinner at freaking 7 in the morning, ate it at 8:20 and at 9:40 I was calling my room mate to come work... He just looked at me with this weird face and started laughing...

What the hell just happened ?

I guess it was anxiety that led me to believe it was almost work time.

What is weirder is that my brain was looking at the 24h format in my computer but was denying the fact it was 7 and not  19, or maybe I'm just getting too much used to the UK time that I forgot about the 24h format.

Anyhow, @El Bandido, I sure had another nap and it felt even better! Dreamed that I had found this little kitten in a mass destructed building, went to a posh restaurant to give him some water and everyone wanted me out because I was looking like a homeless person but since I was rich, I bought the whole restaurant and ate a good meal with the kitten.

I have such weird dreams.

I dream of genie....actually work nights one week a month...so I divide my sleep in two sessions. one in morning when done and a nap after dinner.  easier than trying to get 7 in a row then staying up all night.

I have to try that since I want to get in shape so I will start going to the gym after work since I leave at 7 AM. Last year I just didn't care about anything because I couldn't cope with working in the night shift so I would just smoke my ass off and eat once a day.

Ah, so you are growing along with your quit, imagine that :)

Your body is now giving you true readings of what it needs and "shock/horror" you are responding and treating it kindly!!

This is where you get too. Where, amazingly, you can understand what you need! Sleep, food, movement etc!

you are doing amazing in this quit my lovely! Honestly, give yourself a round of applause and a treat. No, I was serious! Treat yourself well, you are doing amazing things to treat the vessel that carries you better and yeah, sometimes it needs odd stuff like bucketloads of sleep but you saw it and honoured it!

Go thon!! Over 1 week and 3 days free already!! Smashing it :) x

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
