This is one I remember from high school, I am sure a lot of you "older" people have seen it as well.

I graduated in 1975 and was smoking before then. But I remember this, from the AMC and it never made an impression on me, I thought it was goofy. How do you guys feel about these advertisements?

Did anyone every get energized to not smoke by one of these or did it take being backed into a corner before you quit?

I remember those as well...my dad started smoking a pipe, and this went on for a while. Mom told me they have found a spot in his mouth...I remember thinking what is that about

I guess that was the answer to solve that one.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
