E-cigs being marketed to kids

Recommended Posts

So, we have a vape store in my town.  It's very popular with the kids, even though they aren't supposed to be sold to them.  My son told me a girl in his class had one it broke and they replaced it for free.  I hate confrontation but I've a mind to go stand outside of that store with a picket sign and a camera.

I agree with ya there,, I think with todays morals most kids will get whatever they want until "they" either decide they don,t want any

or they get in big enough trouble,,,,,

You go Girl- whatever ya decide,,,

I saw a vape shop in a seaside town here in England last weekend, first I've ever seen. In Felixstowe if anyone english wondered. Lucky for them they were shut as whilst I support them as a quit aid for a timely period, I like you, believe they are trying to create their own sick market! makes my stomach turn what they suggest to our children.

However, someone else's kids...I'd probably make the parents aware...if it were my kids, they would probably be sorry for opening a store near me!  Tough choices Colleen. x

Marti - they are everywhere.

Redser - picket? Not sure - but increasing awareness through Facebook etc....people need to start examining this industry. Knowing who owns it tells me everything that I need to know...

Vaping freaks me out!!!  I did it for one day and had a full-blown anxiety attack!  I got into a verbal dispute with a woman at work and almost got fired. My heart felt like it was about to explode.

The e-cigg messed with both my body and my mind...BIG TIME.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
