I realize my general malaise/anxiety stems from my lack of practice dealing with everyday stuff as a nonsmoker. Instead of moping around feeling all "I can't even" I'm going to run some 5ks in the Connecticut area. Anyone interested in joining shoot me a message, I don't run but I used to do cardio when I kick boxed so hopefully it'll come back to me, esp since I no longer smoke. Cheers.

I wish I lived near there - I can never find anyone to run 5k's with me. I'm sure if you went online there are tons of groups. I almost always run alone though and it's still really fun.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
