Never thought I would say this but I am actually now. This Bakon was right! NRT keep you in withdrawls so I culd not imagine being free and fed my fears only more.

I AM FREE and a NON-SMOKER HAPPILY

Okay got a little cold LOL

But I celebrate my life and to all newbies it's SOOOO worth it!

Fight, crawl, cry and shout but keep your quit safe! one day you'll realise your a non-smoker too.

Evelyn I am SO happy for you!!! I too tried NRT but yes Bakon & others were right....it just does NOT work. It may give one a false sense of security to get them to fear the Quit less initially but it is not any help at all with actually quitting....it makes it worse. Glad you are secure in your Quit! It isn't easy is it? Wishing you the best as we move forward...those bumps in the road we suffer through during our journey to Freedom make sure we'll never want to go through this EVER again!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
