Guess what.... I don't smoke anymore...for a month now

Recommended Posts

I still remember my first ever time posting on a forum, I bitched about living with smokers, I was told to suck it up lol.

2nd time I posted, I was proper stunned I wasn't smoking. I mean I'd set the quit date and all, but I'd done that a million times before and still cheated a bit... not this time!!

Of course I set my course but I want to say a massive thank you to you all, I have felt stronger every step of this journey because you are beside me, genuinely you make me stronger and I truly appreciate it.

Hugs, (action) (el bandito) special thanks, for whatever reason things you said made a difference on day minus 1 for me, maybe a fist bump instead Stu lol! Sometimes it's just a word or your thoughts, I will pay it forward in honour of everyone here. But I'm accidently a little mouthy so if I upset you tell me and I will apologise, my intention is kind!

I am so proud of myself though, I find I'm stronger everywhere. I stand here today making changes all round my life because I deserve the best and I will offer that to those around me.

xx

Stop it...I'll blush!

Marti, you are an inspiration. First you quit...and hubby follows, relapses, follows again. Then her Royal Crankiness, the eternal smoker, follows.

A leader is somebody that is followed.

You are followed and this board is much richer for your presence.

I'm glad so something I said helped lol

I knew from the start that you would be OK. And here you are a month free (and inspiring others to quit too no less!).

Really proud of you for what you are doing!!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
