Welcome!!! This group is amazing.

This can be your last quit!!! I am 48 and have quit over and over again...like you I quit sometimes for a year at a time. Anger always took me back so thats what I'm planning for now...a plan for when I get angry.

My advice would be to think of what it was that led to you smoking again and build a plan around that. What will you do when it happens? Pick up the phone and call someone? Post on the board? Journal? All of the above?

I'm glad you're here. Please stick around...you are worth it!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
