Babs going on a little trip! :)

Yay...only 2 days away!  I am all packed and ready to go. 

 

I am scared to death to fly...haven't been since 1998.  So I think a bloody mary is in order before the flight

 

Just me and my good friend Renee...friends since we were 12.  She only became my friend cause I was a tall girl and looked like I could kick some ass....even though I wouldn't hurt a fly.  We still laugh about how she would tell people she would fight with.."I'm gonna get my girl babs to kick your ass"  wtf?????? i would yell at her to stop fighting with people already...or..if you will have to fight your own battles...we've been friends ever since.

.lol.she was so opposite of me.   which is why I like her.  :)

 

Been through a lot in our lives together...both had 3 kids all around the same age and she also became a grandmother a few months before me.  We tell eachother everything.  There is nothing she wouldn't do for me..and vice versa.  There's something about a childhood friend that is special, compared with friendships that developed in adulthood. 

 

Since we were in our 30's we said we were going to take a trip together on our 40th birthday's..Well...we are about 7 years late but...better late than never!

 

We are gonna be like Thelma and Louise!  oh..except hopefully it doesn't end with a car going off a cliff...that would suck.  I don't think there are cliffs where we are going.  Staying with a friend down there who is kind enough to let us stay at his place and also use his car...which is awesome!

 

Florida....get ready for Babs!  Jersey will be in the house!  I'll try to bring you all along with me and take pictures and post them....1 thing I know is....it won't be boring.  That is for sure.

 

and the other thing I know is....I won't be smoking...that's a guarantee. 

 

ahhhhhhhh....nice to not be a slave to that crap anymore.

 

We leave Wednesday afternoon and coming back early sunday morning....stay tuned!

So now we landed at Orlando missed the shuttle...got a bite to eat and waiting for the next shuttle.

My friend said he has a friend coming in and will be staying with us at the house. Now he springs this on us. He said he's cool and a comedian from Vegas. Should be interesting. Lol
