Hi , I'm Raya . I have been quit since June  30 th of 2011 ...so coming close to 4 years .  I still shake my head first in amazement !  Me? Quit?  As most of us ..I never thought I could , but by taking  one day at a time  and just getting by that day smoke free , time has sure  added up . I couldn't be happier that I decided on a forever quit .

I look forward to  participating here  and look forward to meeting you all .   I am glad I have come aboard the quit train . I hope to encourage and be of support to all .

Hi raya an welcome :)

What an awesome quit you have there, I'm delighted to see you here, a long term quitter gives us all hope and courage

Yes we try to have fun here, as quitting is serious but it's easy to let it consume you so easy distractions have helped many here

Looking forward to getting to know you

  • Thanks for everyones patience and help . . Whoa !!   That QT ticker is a great reminder how far we have come . Its really is neat watching all the days add up . In the beginning one day seemed  like seven days and I remember watching everyday on my calender  like a hawk. Somedays I hung on by a thread , others seemed no problem . As the days add up  we relax and become more certain and  confident  of our quit . I think we all need to be proud of our journey .  WTG !

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
