I brought a mini 'tiki beach' candle with me since I'm spending few days in this hotel room.

Totally forgot, one needs a flame for a candle. I used to run around with 5 in my handbag, but I had to go buy one. (Can't go without the candle, priorities.)

It's funny isn't it. When I quit I had a bunch of lighters ready to refill so I threw those and only had three left, now down to two.

You're right that a girl needs scented candles :)

smart girls can just watch without sound and know what's going on

same with just listening...

I'm 100% BBC world radio fan! Love the accents!

yes on candles.   never too many.

I bought a long nose lighter after I quit so you don't burn your fingers when lighting candles!

I'm the opposite - when I smoked I could never find a lighter ... Now they are everywhere .... Obviously it is time for me to start buying scented candles :-)

oh gosh...I remember the torture of being stuck in traffic in my car with a cigarette but no light...

little did I understand at the time...the torture was the fact that I smoked to begin with

love candles....my current candle I'm burning is a Yankee Candle...Midnight Jasmine

I'm into the Jasmine lately....

I pay for cable but since my son left...it's never on.   I am either exercising, cooking, cleaning, planning the next day meals, on my computer, reading a book or watching netflix, spending time with my granddaughter or busy with some activity or another.  I really should just cancel the cable.  i keep thinking if I cancel that will be the time I wanted to watch something.

I was notorious for pocketing others lighters, didn't even know I was doing it half the time, got to a point they used to hide them lol, I had quite a collection when I rounded them all up and emptied pockets and handbags

Hope you got a light a a and get some chillax time in th room :)

I remember going on vacation in Cuba and discovering that, among the many things that economic isolation had deprived these lovely people of, there was a near complete absence of lighters. As in, you cannot buy one anywhere! Some guys actually made money by having a streetcart-style butane wagon for refills, but you had to have one to start with.

So there's me, hunched over in the grass in the blazing sun with a magnifying glass and a cigarette. I was actually proud of my McGyvering when it sparked.
