I like the part where the report states, statistically, 80 out of 100 people who remain smoke-free never smoke again.   :)

Even so there is 20% that will fail even after 2 years being smoke-free.   :(

Constant vigilance people.

^^^ Yes - I have read a number of things in various places where people lose substantial quits just by doing something impulsive or just plain dumb. Never want to be "that guy"

Even now..I guard my quit...I never get complacent... I've seen folks with long quits ,start again..

I don't want to be one of those.. It's too important ..I have two good reasons..

Good article and yes I was two years back in 2010 and trip to Miami caught me by surprise and ended that long ago quit. This time though I have support and a different mind set.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
