Dedication is what you need......Roy Castle

Roy Castle ......endlessly supported and campaigned and set up a charity for Lung Cancer, a terrible disease that he also died from, he was not a smoker but passive smoking was to blame for his lung cancer.  Every time I remind myself that to maintain my quit I must remain dedicated I think of Roy Castle, someone who through no fault of his own, died from a smoking related illness, surely when we are thinking of quitting and are having trouble doing it, think of all the passive smokers who may inhale some of that toxic smoke that you are breathing in their direction.  You are contributing to that, does that not make you stop and think you are contributing not only to your own death but to someone elses.  How ironic that Roy Castle before finding out he had lung castle, starred in Record Breakers, and the opening and closing song was  "Dedication is what you need"  think on this, think long and hard, its not rocket science is it.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
