Got this great advice from Ava this week:

Instead of counting all the beginnings, and

how much time...has elapsed since beginning...

this time...

and being a white-knuckler (awful) ~~~

BE a nonsmoker 100%.  NEW Is NOW, and I

AM arrived.

I know this sounds simple, and I guess it is.

It's a mental flip from when will I arrive?

(two weeks? two months? two years?)

to, I have arrived. I am a nonsmoker.

Strong advice. Sometimes we are so busy fighting we forget we already did it!!

Yes, exactly. THANK YOU.  This should be a banner...

is it a banner??? I'd like to put it on my profile, over my quit meter,

but I have yet to figure out how to do it. Are these your words? Can I quote you over my quit meter???

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
