I just ran my 4th 5k this year on the 14th I have another one on the 28th - my times have gotten better but still far from my goal.

My last time (it is not very quick and I never ran in my life until recently) anyway my last 5k official time was 26 minutes and 46 seconds

That is not a swift pace but it has been improving my split or average was 8 minutes 26 seconds per mile - my goal is to run a 7 minute average

I have not officially met DD as of yet but I am looking forward to it.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
