In our area...painting parties are getting really popular.  It's an art studio where they have a class that teaches you to paint...you bring snacks and beverages and have a good time!  I went with my daughter and a few friends.

We had a blast..and i must say I didn't do too bad for my first painting.  We can go back and edit our paintings for free on thursday so I want to fix the sailboat and add more waves to the shore line...but all in all...not too shabby.  :)

they are a blast Jenny!!!  I took my mom and my sister there this time..for my sisters birthday.  We brought some snacks and wine and sat around and talked for about a 1/2 hour before painting started.  It's really a lot of fun and beats sitting in a bar
