Morning @Cbdave .... just back on dry land after 4 days on the sea... (bass straight is rather unpleasant)... dunno how you did it for so many years and while I've always respected and been greatful for your service I now understand a little bit more. So thanks again.

Bass strait…. Could not find a more dangerous patch of water. The wheather rips across the bottom of the world. Hits the shallow Great Australian Bight where the big swells  form. Then they are funnelled between Tasmania and mainland Australia. Add a local low pressure system that has its own waves that can travel in a different direction to the big swells. That’s a very dangerous combination. Bass straits a place that you have to respect, been caught out in bass strait before and it’s not fun.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
