I've noticed I'm forgetting to NOPE...

... I've grown into the jacket of a non-smoker. Even in crisis it doesn't occur to me smoke, I do not relapse (had a crisis 2 days back) and although I have cravings I experience them as sweetness cravings. I realise it's a smoking craving but I feel like I want candy since smoking is no option. Am I really a weird duck here?

I'm quackers

Hey Evelyn. You are doing great - you are becoming used to dealing with things differently. What's great is that the train is still here - even if you and me aren't posting so much as we used to - plenty are and its here if we need it.

Just remember - the vigilant quit survives!

Quack.

Funnily enough I was about to write my own post about this. It occurred to me that I simply don't want cigarettes, I don't think about them, even when I see people smoking it doesn't stir a desire to have one. If anything I just pity it.

I stopped having sugar in my tea years ago, I used to miss it, now if I taste sugar in tea its horrible and sweet. Yucky!

Be a non smoker, be awesome.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
