Don't normally let works cat sleep with me as she gets up to go out and wakes me up, but tonight she was so affectionate so I called her in but she got in before me and laid on my pillows, I did not have the heart to move her and a single bed so I got more pillows and I was going to sleep at the rubbish end

I just got in and she jumped off and went out!! How rude! I don't think my feet smell lol

Action, how cute! What is the name of the new kitten?

You brought him home???

No, we didn't take him home, and not sure what his/her name was... It was in with about 6-7 of it's brothers and sisters (who were all black or black and white), and there was a list of names, so I'm not sure who was who. I didn't think it was fair to enquire about it if we were not intending to take it home... I'm sure that the little guy/gal will find a new home in no time!

Just to clarify because people have asked... I did not go to the animal shelter looking for a new cat - Bobbie is fine and does not play well with other animals! It was simply the annual Xmas fundraiser that we always go to! So many sweet kitties that I wanted to take home, but was resisted!

I love this meme in Colleen's signature

However, I HATE those stupid "Elizabethan collar" things they put on dogs and cats. Maybe they don't hurt, but they are very annoying and embarrassing to the animal (yes, animals do get embarrassed). I suggest that people prevent animals from pulling out stitches by putting a "panty hose T-shirt" on them instead. Our old tom cat, Harry, models such a T-shirt here. He had a cyst removed from his left shoulder last week. The vet agreed to put this on Harry instead of the collar thing.

How is it that cats can look so darned comfortable no matter where they are?? Who could possibly stay awake while looking at that totally comfortable kitty? Ugh!

It's true, they make sleeping (even in the most uncomfortable looking places) an art form!

Will we be seeing some more photos of your cats soon?! ;)

Here are our cats, Trixie and Harry. Trixie is the upside down goofy one. They were both snoozing on the bed but as soon as she saw my camera she had to get silly on me. Trixie is 6 years old. Harry, our 16 year old tom cat, is as usual looking at her and thinking "Always gotta grab all the attention, don't you, Sis?"  :)

Very, very pretty Chrys (of course, B&W is my favourite!)... Trixie looks like a real character! And Harry has got a face like he's 'seen it all before', lol Very nice to 'meet' them :)
