Non Smoking Cats

does she look menacing in that picture?  She was actually really happy, and being a big hussy and purring like crazy...  If you stroke her tummy, she will do that with both front paws, extending and putting away her claws for ages (just in the air, not actually clawing anything).  I think it has something to do with when they are trying to get milk from their mum, they have to paw at the nipple or something... so apparently, this is a sign that she is content.  Sometimes she likes it when I put my finger in between her pad and her toes, then she closes them quick to 'trap' my finger in there ;)

No she doesn't. Mine attack you if you touch their bellies if they don't offer it. I love when they knead. The persian does that and she is a brut about it, it is like getting a hardcore massage when she kneads on you.

I do the same thing with the pads lol.

Haha, if Bobbie wants to sit on my lap, she has a special cushion she can knead the crap out of... Otherwise it hurts like hell, lol. She will do it for AGES before she will settle properly... depending who's lap she wants (usually mine), we have to pass her cushion back and forth ;)

LOL A cushion. Jupiter has his claws but is gentle when he kneads. Whoever had Venus before me declawed her so when she kneads it is like getting a deep tissue massage, and hurts like hell.

Thought I would paint last night and Machu obviously thought he could help ! Gotta love a helpful cat ... Oh and forgive the mess- I am a messy artist ! a0d0423989cfe63dbac86525c36d6b54_zpsff34

This reminds me of my cat curling up and watching me paint. That was very pleasant for both of us until she discovered how much she likes to eat green paint (only green, for some reason). That was the end of our co-painting experiment!

Yes, it's amazing, isn't it? Vets are the nicest people and so kind and gentle with animals but it doesn't do them the least bit of good--my cats still hate the vet.   Not fair to the vet, I think, but try explaining that to a cat.

Well the vet told me that she was the best behaved cat she's seen all week, bless her, she is a good girl (Bobbie, not the vet!)
