BioLayne Response to Jonathan Bailor's Quest Nutrition 'Calorie Myths' Video

"I am making this video response due to popular request as well as Quest Nutrition themselves who inquired with me asking what I thought of the video. I gave them my honest feedback and they encouraged me to make a video. I respect a company alot that can admit when they've made a mistake. As many of you can guess, I was not a big fan of the original video and found many portions cringe worthy, but it wasn't completely inaccurate, so in this video I discuss what was wrong with it and also what was correct and in what context."--Layne Norton

Here we go.

J/k.

Sugar gets a bad rap. Who the heck eats a 'third of a cookie.'

I do like what he said about fiber and protein, that kind of validates the program I'm on. Matter of fact I was planning on an orange, egg beaters, and multi grain toast for brunch.

There's my input.

Oh my gosh, you never listen to me. Tony Dean's FAST. I've lost 10 lbs in the last month. But since I was 5 lbs heavier than I thought I was, you could count it as 5. 5 to 7 lbs to go!

Here we go again.  If you'd ever listen to me you'd never have to feel like you're doing without "your little treats".

I've eaten 5 chicken breasts today, tons of green beans and broccoli.  Also had a little bag of Chex Mix.  And Coffee.

I don't think I could fast.  I'd get too hungry.

That is awesome Babs!!   You look sooooo good too.  You are the poster example of success for inspiration to everyone, in quitting smoking and getting fit (amoung other things).

I do eat - too much - idk why it's called fast - it's not like the 'fasting,' it's like losing quickly.

I am allowed 1150 cals per day.  Which I honestly often struggle to stay under.

But some days I burn over 900 cals in the gym.  (Not always, but sometimes.)

Plus yesterday I decided to have cheat nights on Sat nights now, and had chicken strips and chips and salsa last night.  Followed up by cupcakes.

I will see how it effects my next weigh in, if it sets me back, then I will have to say I've learned my lesson.  They are very clear you are not allowed any cheats on this program.  But I really struggle to stay on 24/7.

Anyway.  Yeah, MQ I stand by my original statement that you never listen to me.  ((Rolling eyes))  I would not want to eat chicken and broccoli all day long.  Nuh-uh.
