what's everyone doing tonight?

I was supposed to go to an artist studio with my daughter and a few friends for a painting session...it's pretty cool.  It's been planned for 2 months now and chose tonight because they were doing a beach scene.  You get instructions and guidance and get to leave with your canvas-framed and all.you bring snacks and drinks if you want and have fun "girl time".

 

 Well... they just canceled due to the weather....I was really looking forward to it.  :(  Disappointing....but oh well. Have to reschedule it but most likely won't be the beach scene I wanted. poo

 

So, I guess I will just hang in...relax and watch a movie or something

Snowed in here too.  Probably going to watch the box set of Indiana Jones.

Too cold to go out so stuck inside as well watching tv.   I cannot wait for spring!  Feeling so shut in this winter.

I might go watch a couple of friends play hockey.  It's pouring rain right now so if it gets super icy tonight, I'll skip it.  Just not worth the potential fender bender.

well...since it had been snowing 1/2 the night, and all day today...ive been stuck inside.

Mrs. Joe had to work this week-end, so i played Mr.Mom..

i got dinner in the crock pot...

the dishes all done and put away (including the ones in the dishwasher..I dont use it, she does)..

the laundry done, and just came inside from plowing out the driveway for the last hour and a half...

and since it was pretty slippery this morning, I drove her to work, so that means in a couple hours I have to leave to pick her up (12 hr shift)....so...

once I am finally back in the house, my plans include a shower...dinner, a tv and recliner...

 

so..It sounds like my plans are pretty much the same as everyone on the east coast  :P

Went to see a 3:45 movie, the next town over.  Came out and the ground was once again covered in snow.  This time though, it was wet snow...sticky driving.  Good thing I have wine, red wine :)

  It's Sunday afternoon now and I have mucking about all day doing nothing.   I would far rather drink till sun up.  And it's warm here.  A little rain but the garden needs it.
