Juan, you need to make a commitment to stick with the board...every time you say are okay and are moving on...you come back relapsed.  One year is what Cristobal recommends...what do you think?

Why would you fail? Why would you relapse?

You already committed to not smoking. It's been decided by you. It's a done deal. Signed, sealed and you're delivering. :)

juan you will not relapse this time you must believe that you must have confidence in yourself

although you commit to the pledge you still take it a step at a time, dont let the year daunt you every day is a step closer - every single day

You are pledging to stick with the board for one year...the idea is that it will help you protect your quit.  So that you won't have to come and tell us you are starting over....but if you have to do that, you have to do that. And you should further promise yourself that you will post an SOS here before you smoke.  Please quit being worried about failure and start planning for success!!   You can do this!!

You have to believe in yourself. Don't already be thinking of relapse. We all need to believe in ourselves. If we don't then it doesn't matter how many other people believe in us...it only has to do with you. :)

Hey Juan, I pledged to a year on the board. Even if you do not post everyday, maybe just have a little look and read a few posts or jump in chat for a few minutes?

Staying close the the board is the only way I got the quit that I have. I come here everyday and it has worked for me. It will work for you too.

We all know you can do this Juan - just look at Nancy, Tracey, Babs, Wiley; they are all experts and they come here everyday too. You could even have some fun and help others too :)

We believe in you.

I ll check in but i can't promise you success, im getting trough the 3 day Cold turkey and it has been tough.

I ll be here almost every day

How about you promise us (and more importantly yourself) that you will give it your absolute 100% best shot? Can you do that?

Yes I can do that, im just mad i blew my 1 and half month quit...

i ll give you my best, but that time was with ziban, which by the way really freaked me out, now im doing it cold turkey, anyway i wanna quit i don't believe a magic pill can solve it,

What is the affirmation post?

That quit is in the past being mad and stressing yourself out still about it won't help you with your current quit. It will only make you more mad. Dwelling on negatives is never a good thing and it's a sure way to sabotage yourself. Think of the positives. You learned a lesson. You're back on a fresh new beautiful quit and you have ALL the power to make it successful. That is awesome. Go you!!

Juan...there are no "if's" and "but's" because you don't want to smoke anymore!

You can do it....you are already doing it! We are all here for you. Read a lot and find what works for you! Listen to the people you named, start a blog and write down how you feel....do whatever it takes to keep your quit for good!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
