I just logged on after work today to see if my sister has joined the site yet. I didnt see any introduction from her, but I did notice we have 117 guest viewing the site at this time!.. that is great, only i know for a fact that some of those lurking need to join. i just talked to my sister Amey yesterday and ,though she is far from out of the woods, she has good news that the cancer hasnt spread and she is a candidate for surgery...how-ever, she is STILL having trouble completely quitting smoking..she still "needs" about 2 a day...i  have tried explain how she is prolonging the withdraws, but she is still stuggling...so..I told her about our new train we have up and running and I am hopping she climbs aboard and seeks out some support...She is strong, so I know she can do this, I just think a little inter-action with this board is all that it will take to put her on the road to being 'smoke free"...

.

This goes out to all you people lurking....WE ARE HERE TO HELP...sometimes (or most times) its a matter of life and death...please, if you read this, sign up (its easy and this site is free and doesnt sell any of your info or anything)..it is 'owned" and run by ex -smokers...and if My sister Amey is reading this, you need to sign up and give these people a chance...Your odds will improve with support....

We will support you, because once, someone supported us! I'm english so I shall just say welcome and come on in :) But honestly, I wish someone had of told me this....BABY steps mean this quitting malarky, it's apparently more than do-able, I mean everyone said it was too hard, like really tough......transpires it's not actually, it can be done and we would love to help you on your journey. xx

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
