It's been snowing about 24 hours now and it's not stopping till maybe tomorrow, yikes!  So far, we have just over 2 feet of snow.  We are still under a travel ban.

This is what it looked like when it first started snowing yesterday afternoon:

The wind is something else.  This morning, went to look out the window:

I thought I would open the front door to take a picture.  Guess not...couldn't open the door more than an inch.

Watching the news, it looks like everything they predicted...

Stay warm and safe inside .. No reason to go outside till....spring. ;)

We got less than expected...maybe a couple inches.

Pretty pictures, but I despise winter. Our winters are long, cold, and quite dangerous at times.

I agree with Joe... stay inside. :P

Gotta love toddles - so cute ! Oh and that snow looks amazing too - but then again I always romance the snow ! :-)

Tuddles - love the name and the cat! Several years ago we got 7 inches of snow one January (almost of unheard of for here in SC). My Poppy had never seen snow. She walked out the back door onto the sidewalk and did NOT like the snow under her paws, so she took a flying leap for the deck, disappeared under the 7" and immediately reappeared 3 ft up in the air. I LFMAO. She did not go back out until all snow had melted.

That video is great! Your cats actually go on leashes?

Mine anytime I put a leash on them:

I started when she was a kitten.  You need to use a harness.  Both of my cats are indoor only cats.  Monkey has to be watched very carefully because he is an escape artist.  He can shimmy out of a harness.  He pushes screens out and went missing for a night once  :o  I think we need to bump the pet pics thread...

Lmao you aren't kidding! States of emergency are declared and the city shuts down if one flake falls.
