  1. 1. Did you get a flu shot this year?

Our flu vaccines cost  $30 per person. Unless that is a real hardship on one's family, I don't understand why one would not rather be safe than sorry. So, yes, we got the vaccine and are happy that we did.

I don't like getting flu shots.  My husband and daughter got one this year when they were grocery shopping one night.  My husband has not been sick, but says he feels like he has this "cold" like every Monday through Friday. lol.     My daughter has had a random stuffy nose and sneezing, but it doesn't progress.  My son had a cold in early December, and right now he didn't look so good when I picked him up from school, and he said he didn't feel good (but he has a math test tomorrow - hmmm and math is not going well right now.)  And my husband says I'm not compassionate. what evs!

I had a pretty bad cold in December. It may have been flu.  I felt like crap and lost my voice, but I refuse to believe I or anyone else is sick, so I plowed through til I was better.  The one day I tried to stay home and be "sick" I was getting a bunch of emails from work needing help & stuff.  I was so mad! I felt like saying. "I'm F-ing sick!"

ok. done rambling. :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
