Markus, I can totally relate to that!

For such a long time my mantra was "I don't do that anymore" or "I'm not a smoker"

I'm not really sure when it happened....that I turned some corner and just looked at cigarettes as harmful, bad and dirty.

I hope newbies know.......this will happen for them too. That they won't always crave, that theyll get to a point where it's all just a non-issue. That they'll go weeks without even thinking about it.....

It's a remarkable freedom :)

Well it looks like you have turned the page and that your will is stronger than your temptation! Good for you for making the right choice ! :)

There was nothing there. No trigger, no association and no crave.

No temptation present nor was any willpower required... absolutely fabulous Markus... big tobacco can certainly stick that one in their pipe!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
