Jess, remember how proud your quit has made people. I am so sorry you're in pain sweetheart, but smoking won't fix it.  Did you get some meds to help you rest. I bet you are so jaded with it all right now but smoking really does not fix it. xx

No Jess, this does not relive stress. Jess...IT CAUSES STRESS!

Remember, the pride you felt, it's still intact.

I am so so sorry for all you are going through. Does doing your job help, well no probably, but maybe, stop analysing!! Emotionally exhausted, physically exhausted...baby girl come on, you need to rest.

I have not been where you are, I can hold your hand online but not live your place. However I think of who I've lost and they would be pissed as all f ing hell if I gave up this quit for them. REALLY, your quit stands alone as a wonderful thing...don't try and merge them for sadness. It won't help.

Rest will help, time will help...love you sweetie, things are awful, they happen, we break and we regrow slightly differently..but we hold fast to living because it's the right thing to do. Much love, sending strength. xx

Is Relapsing On Nicotine A Good Experience?

Many people write off their past or current relapses as "good learning experiences." This video addresses the potential problems of minimizing the serious nature of these relapses, and how doing so may cost you future quits or maybe even your life. The videos attached in this description really hit home this issue.

Who Wants To Go Back To Smoking?

This video discusses how former smokers at times think they want to go back to smoking, but if they really remind themselves of the package deal that goes along with being a smoker, it will be easy for them to stick to their quit.

Days like that suck!

I just tell myself to keep my head down and power through it.

If it's any consolation, you have people all over the world in your corner.  There are many good videos, this one I just can't stop coming back to.  Because I dreaded the day that I would be told the info that I have {insert horrific fatal disease, most likely cancer, including but not limited to a fun voice box to speak} caused by smoking.

I thought I was powerless to avoid it.  I am SO glad we got our heads out of the sand.  Even if we do get that dreaded disease and it was due to smoking, at least we know we stopped.  We finally did something right for ourselves.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
