Maybe you could set an alarm to remind you?  Keep going Wendy, you are going to do this.  Really proud of you that you haven't given up quitting :)

Wendy, I'm sure that if you really want to quit smoking you will remember to take the Chantix twice a day. I think that's a non-issue and you don't need to worry about it. I'm sorry to hear about your in-laws, though. They both are facing very scary illnesses. You are smart to picture yourself in their shoes some day and use that to help you keep your quit. Good idea!

I am pretty rubbish at taking tablets - I'm ok for a few days and then I seem to forget about them - happens all the time, antibiotic courses etc ... it's how I ended up with two kids lol ...

Lol... That made me laugh ;)

Seriously though, if you are likely and have history of forgetting (I can relate!) maybe a post it note by the kettle? I do this a lot ;)

Hey Wendy!

One with breakfast, one with dinner, simples.

In laws sounds rough. You are right, you don't want to be like that, so definitely worth 'burning' those Images into your personal quit kit.

Keep on keeping on!

I'm sorry to hear about your inlaws, but it is now your goal to do something about it for yourself, so your kids aren't saying the same thing about you in the future!  You can do this, and I believe it in you.  Here for you whenever you need me my friend.

Remember to take those tablets; I'll send you bloody PM's twice a day if you need me to! ;)

I think a number of us obtained at least one child that way haha.

Good that there's nothing to report, it means all is going forward without many effects...defo good sounding news to me.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
