Does it feel the same to choke someone out in real life as I imagined in my head? I mean dum co workers. When they give an attitude and I can clearly picture my hands around their neck and those eyes glazing over I get warm and fuzzy inside. Would it be any better in real life?

I know sex is better in real life, eating too. But they have positive outcomes. My thoughts aren't as nice and then there is all that paperwork. Hiring a replacement, digging a hole for the body. Moving their car out of the lot. It's just so much easier to think it and only get the good side without the price to pay. I have to think it would be better for first couple moments, then just like smoking it is all down hill. So probably anytime we have an urge to smoke it is roughly the same thing....we forget all the bad stuff but are actually only choking out our own life. Lighting the smoke can be like wrapping the fingers around our neck. Sounds stupid that way....

Back to window licking instead.....

I feel ya Porky.

I know I've tasted a few windows in my lifetime, but I have some coworkers that keep right on licking even when the window is open. Sometimes I think my company hires them just to make my life miserable. Seriously, is it too much for me to ask for somebody who can count past single digits?

I need a day off  :P

I wish to be nice this year but then they open their mouth.

Like to see them actual do their job like they said they would when hired.

Lazy would be a complement

But for urges. Think some are just a bad idea but at the time we think wrong and they seem to be right. So my urge will pass

Not one single cig will be worth choking for and when you realize that and you stick with NOPE, no reason to lick a window or romanticism when you're close to someone smoking a cigarette...

It's not everyday you see a thread labeled "feelings" written by the porkster.   I say just choke 'em.  The coworkers and the cigarettes.  :)

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
