Please post how many cigarettes you used to smoke per day so I can make a community ticker to track how many cigarettes as a group we've not smoked.  Not sure what I'll use as a quit date for the ticker, maybe the day QT was created??

I love the idea action!  I'll keep a running total as new members join etc. on a spreadsheet so it can be easily tracked and changed.

Just before I quit, I was smoking about 15 per day.

Only because I had to go outside though. When I could smoke in the house, I would go through a pack (sometimes two!) in one day.

Edited to say: Really great idea Action (and MQ). :)

On a good day, 15 or 20.

On a bad day, up to 60 (and occasionally/rarely more), but that was maybe once a month, if that.

Sarge has always called it at about 30, average.

More than a pack, less than two packs ... most days.

Put Sarge down for 30 a day, Mrs. Sarge for 12.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
