I highly recommend the numbers game.  In fact, we have a whole forum dedicated to distracting games.  http://www.quittrain...forum/13-games/ To be honest, it saved me many a time.  Any time I am stressed, I play those games almost obsessively.  Beats smoking any day! -Colleen

Take a deep relaxing soak in the tub with some calm music and candles.  I typically go find those chores that I've put off because they are too involved and begin to tackle them.  It definitely takes my mind off a craving.  Clean out a closet; clean out the basement; clean out the refrigerator; clean out kitchen cabinets.  Or take this time to reorganize whatever needs it.  I also will go outside and take a short walk.  Or, sometimes I take a nap   That is my most favorite thing to do!-NayNay

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
