Hey Rowly

Dec 28 post is where you might find some motivation.

Stick with it buddy. The odd test comes along in the early days - you just push on through it.

There is no just one Rowly.

You do not want just one......breathe deep everything that happens in life is going to happen with or without cigarettes it is much better without (I know you know that) Go for a run or a walk or take 10 minutes close your eyes and take some deep breathes repeatedly......drink a cold glass of water or maybe some juice or pop. Whatever you do do not smoke and please check back in here ..........you have got this........

My friend you know the urges come and go, and sometimes they go on for days. But if you breathe through it and Nope it to death, do some exercises, eat, or whatever, you get through. So here you are, you did not smoke, and you are stonger for it. :)

You are stronger then that one!!

You just don't smoke that one ya hear, cause all it's buddies come flooding after and you SOOOO don't want them too!!  You have not smoked so many times, this is just another time.

Pleased you're busy, what ya doing?? Can you get a run or a power walk in there somewhere- I know you like exercise and it kicks these craves to the kerb the quickest.

Still here and still smoke free. Can't stay online though but will check in when possible.

and that's how it's done!  One crave, one hurdle at a time.  You will be stronger for it.  :)

good job Rowly....and good job everyone for being here...that's what the Quit Train is all about!

This is the time to step up to "Badass" status....  Make sure you tell this craving to F UCK OFF and get on with your good life.

I'm late to the party but I am so proud of you for staying smoke free.  A craving is not a command to smoke.  Wait it out and it will go.

Smokers don't have just one.  One was never enough and it never will be.  In 20 minutes, maybe sooner, from the time you put it out you'll want another.

You know why you won today?  Because you're smarter than nicotine.  :)

Very true.

Rowly, it may not always be easy, but not much in life is.  It will always be worth it.  Well done staying tough, you handled this just the right way.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
