well I figured this was a good place to post here......At this time, I am just 4 months shy of my 3 year nosmo anniversary.  I would say for the past 6 years I've been on a spiritual journey...which ultimately lead me to quit smoking..and then finishing up that transformation by eating healthy and exercise regularly.

If you are still smoking....it is CRUCIAL that you concentrate on quitting smoking FIRST.  For some reason...we focus so much more on what's on the outside.  My weight loss is so much more than that.  How I look on the outside is just a reflection of how I feel on the inside and it NEVER would have been possible had I not quit smoking first.  Quitting smoking is what gave me the confidence to keep going.  Quitting smoking is what helped clear my lungs and slow my pulse rate so that when I did exercise..I didn't feel like I was dying.  Quitting smoking taught me a lot about committment to myself...and patience.  Patience...patience...patience.

Wow! Today I was thinking about you as I have gained a ton and really I am having trouble closing my mouth. Plus it seems like when I do diet and exercise after I quit smoking the scales do not move. Nonsmoking? Menopause? More food? Any way I know you had gained weight after you quit but you decided to lose it and get fit. You have done a great job! So I think i can use you like a model? Any tips?

Your motivation and positive energy is truly inspiring babs. I've secretly been doing the abs challenge. Want to feel Day#30.

Just don't lose TOO much so we can't see you in the photos. ;)

This is awesome!! So happy you are doing the challenge. It's not a secret anymore. :)

Wonder how many others are secretly doing it. Love it!!

Thank you guys!!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
