I understand your hesitation, the thought of putting down the cigarette is scary.  Not all that long ago, we were all in your shoes.  Once you let go of the fear, it's not that hard at all to quit.  You will soon realize how much better life can be without smoking.  Even if you are still on the fence about quitting, we can help you get from point A to point B.  Once you join, you will discover a group of people all in different stages of their quit, ready to help make quitting a reality for you.

Absolutely what Colleen there said. Cutting down was hard for me, planning to quit was massively fear inducing - so in comparison the quitting was fairly painless! Taking things one day at a time and now smoking is worse than not smoking. Also why did no one tell me...quitting is hard they said, it takes willpower and commitment and yada yada...why did no one tell me of the pride I would feel, and how the fear of jumping was worse than the reality, that if I educated myself on nicotine addiction I would simply not want to smoke. I feel robbed of years so don't let that be you! x

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
