Twenty One + hours quit is REALLY Good.

Sulking

isn't as much fun being proud of yourself for quitting !

Reward your Now.

Learn from yesterday and learn well but, reward your Now.

You have quit smoking.

This is Great.

Good on you.

:)

Here, here!

Day 1 all but done and dusted! Great work Wendy.

Wendy, I am sorry you smoked, but nobody can be more sorry than you.  I want you to write down or post your triggers and your plan of action for each one.  Not smoking is important, but being proactive is a big help.  Example:  I am so accustomed to smoking after leaving the grocery store.  Plan:  Immediately upon exiting the grocery store, I will put a piece of gum or mint in my mouth.    I am sorry that you smoked, but excited that you jumped right back on  the train.  We know you want to quit and stay quit, so make this your sticky quit.  Post an SOS if you need to.  We are here for you :)

I'm glad you're honest enough to admit throwing away your quit was a big mistake. Nicodemon jumps for joy whenever one of us rejoins the smokers team. Listen to others, we are here to guide you. :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
