I have lost 10lbs!

:)

Wow!  You are amazing...no fooling around for you...well done!  How many steps are you going for a day?

Excellent!!!  Must be all that shuffling.

I have a FitBit and my wife threw a fit for a bit because it's been in my workout area sitting on a table for months.  It will soon be charged and synced again with my phone.

Fit.  Bit.

I adore my fitbit! It keeps me accountable....and very present and in the moment when it comes to food choices and exercise. I have added friends....and since Im a tad competitive by nature, its motivating to "win" daily or weekly step challenges among friends.

Im currently stepping about 14-15 thousand a day :)

Mt Bandit friend....Ive upped my daily goal from 10k steps to 12k.....that was so easy that I upped it to 14k. Ive been hitting it easy. I jog in place while I watch tv at night :p

Sniff.....sniff....

Is it me? Or is there a faint whiff of a Canadian challenge in the air?

Right Missy.

I will wait til I get mine and see what I am currently doing, before I join the challenge...I think it might take me awhile to catch up...

Don't have a Fitbit, but just sent my H an email asking for the Zip for Christmas. If I get it, I will join you all in the challenge!

Fantastic work.

Pah!

Nonsense. You get it, you join the group and we all go together - this is about us all getting that tiny bit healthier

(except me and Maple Leaf...that's war  )

The really enlightening thing about these devices is the awareness that they give you. You find yourself parking a little further away. If a letter needs posting - you volunteer to walk to the post box....it really does encourage you.

Oh Julie..........Julie...

Its all gone quiet over there...

No sport for me today, just a walk with the dog and a bit of shopping...

18,000 steps / 8.28 miles

And I'm going dancing tonight....

Hmmmm...I woder, did Santa bring anyone else a fitbit?

Yes, I have one, but you guys are so far ahead of me...best day so far was 12,690...and there is no way I will be able to do that when I go back to work!  So I haven't joined the group, yet!

12690 is brilliant! That's a great count.

Don't underestimate how many steps get done just by living!

Where it can be great is that when you get to the parking lot, you choose to park at the far end, so that you can get some steps in...

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
